New Year New Project

We rent our home, and I have a knack for making things feel more cozy and custom. I hate the feeling of having a space not feel completely mine. Our kitchen is small, and I've always wanted a breakfast nook.
I was talking with my hubby yesterday about putting one into our kitchen. He's always up for one of my projects and really liked the idea. I haven't quite figured out the configuration of it, but when I do I will be sure to keep you posted. For now here are some of the ideas I'm mulling over.

Ginnifer Goodwin

I'll admit I have a little bit of a girl crush when it comes to Ginnifer Goodwin, and when I saw her home featured in Elle Decor Magazine I fell in love with it. It's so quaint and cozy. I love the mixture of pattern and texture,and how she's allowed it to be a bit fun and girly. Makes me want to add a little bit of girliness to my home.
